General Summary: This position is involved with assisting the Office of Student Wellness Education in the creation and implementation of wellness outreach & promotion efforts and provides support during wellness programs and services.
Principal Duties, Responsibilities, and other Job Related Information:
Assist office staff with promotional events, outreach or information tables and awareness campaigns.
Coordinate oversight of special health projects, such as wellness program kits, website content and print media.
Manage event postings for the Office using MyHC & Ignite
Researching and creating accurate and reliable content for the @hc_swellness social media accounts throughout the year. Topic will focus on but are not limited to: infectious disease education (i.e. COVID, Flu, Monkey Pox, etc.), student substance use, mindfulness, stress management, sleep, connection, nutrition and more.
Maintain Facebook, Instagram and TikTok Office accounts.
Create Newsletter and Social Media Graphics using Canva & Ignite
Track social media engagement and other data points to inform strategies.
Assist office staff with setting up and/or being present at outreach events and programs such as sober tailgates, substance free community programs, hydration station education, stress management outreach in the Jo, and more.
Hours: Must be able to work 6-10 hours per week. Flexible schedule, however some hours will need to be scheduled to be on-site in the office. Evening and weekend hours may be required as needed.
